The high-resolution X-ray spectra taken during a large solar flare on 1979 June 10 are presented. Many lines of highly ionized iron are resolved and identified for the first time in solar spectra. Lines with a wide range of excitation temperatures have similar time development during the flare's rapid rise phase. The density sensitive line ratios in Fe XXI and Fe XXII are discussed.
