The interstellar reddening law in the visible has been determined by multivariate analysis of the Geneva seven-color photometry for 239 O stars. Very little variation is found in the reddening law with galactic longitude with the exception that the law for the Cygnus region (60-90 deg) shows a significantly higher slope at the blue end. The mean law with the Cygnus region stars excluded is virtually identical to that found by Seaton (1979) for NGC 7027 (longitude equal to 85 deg). Reddening laws are presented for eleven longitude groupings of the sample of O stars.
