Sun: Radio Radiation
Scientific paper
The values of the intensity of the non-magnetic component of solar radio emission, delineated after subtracting the contributions of sunspots and the mean magnetic field of the Sun from the observed radio flux, have been determined in the frequency band 245-15 400 MHz for the solar maxima (1980 and 1991), as well as for the solar minimum periods (1975, 1986 and 1996). The periodicity in the non-magnetic component has been found by applying the Fourier integral method and the frequency dependence of the periodicity has been studied.
