A procedure for calculating solar proton fluxes from observations at radio wavelengths is described. The procedure, which takes into account the solar longitude of the flare and the conditions of particle escape into space, uses the integral parameters of microwave radio bursts. Parameters at 3 and 9 GHz for both complete emission flux and growth-phase flux are obtained, and the corresponding intensity function and longitudinal attenuation are determined.
