A continuing program of optical study of objects inside the error boxes of X-ray sources listed in the 2A (Second Ariel) catalog has led to the discovery of four previously unknown type 1 Seyfert galaxies, one of which was reported previously. This paper describes in detail the properties of the other three Seyferts: ESO 141-G55 (identified with 2A 1914-589), ESO 113-IG 45 (identified with 2A 0120-591), and MCG-2-58-22 (identified with 2A 2302-088). It is also proposed that the sources 2A 2315-428 and 2A 0943-140 be identified, respectively, with the bright emission-line galaxies NGC 7582 and NGC 2992. A search for X-ray emission from 25 bright emission-line galaxies with z less than 0.1 is discussed in which one galaxy, NGC 1365, was detected at about the 5-sigma level. The results strongly suggest the existence of a new class of X-ray source associated with galaxies whose emission lines are much narrower than is characteristic of type 1 Seyferts.
