A description is given of the new Mark-3 receiver of the large radio telescope Croce del Nord, Bologna. The receiver consists of an amplifier-converter for the 408-430 MHz range with a passband of 10 MHz and a total noise temperature of 90 K. The overall design of the receiver - electric stability, simplicity, and good maintainability - is discussed and the circuit design (RF amplifer, IF amplifer, RC amplifier, and thermal control system) is considered in detail. Circuit diagrams are presented.
