Magnitudes for 20 RR Lyrae variables and one short-period Cepheid were measured on plates of M22 taken from 1893 to 1975. Light curves were constructed for all but one variable, and period changes were determined for 15 variables. No RR(ab) variables considered cluster members show large period changes. The period-frequency diagram of the RR Lyrae variables in the cluster shows little change from that previously published. Attention is drawn to the few short-period Cepheids that are found in globular clusters, and their period frequency over all globular clusters is examined.
