Cosmic-ray-produced Mn-53 was determined by neutron activation analysis in 22 chondrites (including three Antarctic meteorites), four mesosiderites, three iron meteorites, Bencubbin (unique), and Udei Station (iron with silicate inclusions). Preliminary values for Be-10 in the Antarctic (Yamato) meteorites were also obtained. Two meteorites, Yamato-7301 and Bondoc, had extremely low Mn content, and reasons for the low content in the Yamato meteorite are considered. The ratio of Mn-53 production rate in Ni to that in Fe is estimated.
