The modulations of the non-Io-related radio emissions in hectometric and
decametric wave frequencies are examined, and compared with the observed
variation of the MeV electron fluxes in the morning sector of the Jovian
magnetosphere. It is suggested that these radio emissions are controlled
by the behavior of these electrons in this sector.
