The formulas given by Shah (1970) are converted into a form suitable for computation. Results are presented of computations made of the parameters of emission scattered by two-layer cylindrical dust particles. It is pointed out that the scattering of light by such particles has thus far not been considered, even though in the interstellar and interplanetary medium there are objects (for example, reflection nebulas and comets) in which the scattering of light by dust particles occurs at various angles. Calculations are made of the parameters of the dimensionless intensity of radiation scattered by a particle comprising a silicate core and a shell of ice for various angles of incidence. Particles in which the radius of the core ranges from 0.16 micron to 0.32 micron and the radius of the shell is 0.4 micron are considered. A comparison is then made with homogeneous cylindrical particles.
