The distances of the nearest groups of galaxies and several nearby field galaxies are derived from previously calibrated secondary indicators. The galaxies and groups for which distance moduli are determined include the NGC 2366-2403 pair, the M81 group, M101 and two dwarf companions, the Sculptor group, the WLM nebula, A1256+14, A1008-04, NGC 6946, IC 342, NGC 1569, and IC 10. Adopted distance moduli, corresponding absolute magnitudes, and linear diameters are presented for the 22 galaxies studied. The results indicate that the diameters of the largest H II rings may be one of the most precise distance indicators available. A total zero-point mean error of 0.15 mag is obtained for the secondary calibrators.
