Observational data on the periods of the triple-mode Cepheids AC And and TU Cas are reanalyzed. Masses of 3 solar masses for AC And and about 4 solar masses for TU Cas are obtained from the period ratios. Unconventional composition structures are proposed to explain the periods of AC And, and it is concluded that the second overtone is not really present in TU Cas. The analysis indicates that in AC And, a strong Cepheid wind appears to enrich helium in the convection zones down to about 60,000 to 70,000 K and that some downward partial mixing then occurs to the bottom of a layer with about 0.0005 of the stellar mass.
