Results are reported for computer simulations carried out to test Hameen-Anttila's (1978) theory concerning the orbits of a particle swarm around a gravitating central body for the case where the elasticity coefficient is constant and identical particles revolve around the central body in a radially symmetric configuration. The results of simulations performed with 100 test particles for two values of elasticity (0.45 and 0.3) are compared with Hameen-Anttila's theory, and rather good agreement is indicated. Differences between the simulation and theoretical results are discussed with reference to the evolution of eccentricity, inclination, and semimajor-axis dispersion.
