The paper reports the first analysis of astrolabe observations of Saturn performed at the Paris Observatory; 127 transits were analyzed. Observation residues are analyzed with respect to the American Ephemeris, mainly as a function of the mode of observation; it is noted that the Saturn rings could have an effect on planet-position determinations. It is shown that the observations are accurate enough to allow the inclusion of the planet in astrolabe programs.
