A simultaneous two-channel H-beta photometer attached to a 50-cm reflector was used to obtain beta values on the standard beta system for Ceres, Juno, Vesta, and the four Galilean satellites of Jupiter, and the data were used with appropriate calibration equations to obtain solar values of beta, (b-y) and (B-V). The calibration equation of Nissen (1970) was then used to compute the iron-to-hydrogen ratio of the Hyades cluster. The ratio computed was 0.21 plus or minus 0.03, which is in good agreement with the value computed by Gustaffson et al. (1974) for the four Hyades giants.
