Quinn et al.'s (1991) 'QTD6' numerical-integration solution for solar system motion over 6 Myr is the first to encompass the effects of general relativity and a modeling of the earth-moon system's quadrupole moment over such an extended period. Nevertheless, the 6 Myr span is too short to detect any effects due to the chaotic motion of the solar system as predicted by Laskar (1989); QTD6's analysis of the resonant argument 2(g4 - g3) - (s4 - s3) nevertheless confirms the existence of this secular resonance among the precessing motions of the earth and Mars.
