The results of a search for anisotropies in the microwave background radiation towards 14 clusters of galaxies and five reference regions at 10.7 GHz with the OVRO 40-m telescope are presented. Systematic errors introduced by differential spillover are identified, and two methods for their removal in beam-switching observations are given. Depressions of the temperature of the microwave background radiation formally significant at the 2σ level are found only for 0016+16 and Abell 2218, but in these cases the data are either discordant or depend on corrections for nearby radio sources. Preliminary observations at 20.3 GHz are reported which confirm the reality of the effect in these two clusters and Abell 665.
