The paper presents first results obtained from the joint German-Bulgarian observational program in which the 2-m telescope of the Rozchen (Bulgaria) observatory was to check the lack (or presence) of galaxies in the 'voids' (Rood, 1988). The program list contains one comparison field (the well known cluster of galaxies A 1376) and about a dozen of voids. The exposure time of about 3 hrs was used, in the hope of reaching a limiting magnitude greater than the POSS limit. Results are presented of qualitative evaluations made for the objects measured on one plate.
