It is argued that the compact radio source 41.9+58 located near the center of the galaxy M82 is a young plerion about 30 years old. This very young supernova remnant has an anomalously low expansion velocity, which makes the physical age of this supernova remnant much smaller than its chronological age. It is shown that the radio emission of 41.9+58 is comparable with the radio emission of type II supernovae. Although plerions usually have a rather flat radio spectrum (alpha approximately equal to 0), 41.9+58 is found to have an index of alpha equal to 0.7, which is the expected value for a young plerion.
