In a current analysis of Cr II two new multiplets have been identified around 1430 Å. The identification of 27 lines establishes the new terms y 6F0 and y 6D0 of the 3d3 4s 4p configuration by their combinations with 3d4 4s a 6D. Most of the lines appear in absorption in the spectrum of a solar active region.
