Scientific paper

A map of the Galactic Center region obtained with the Itapetinga radio telescope in the 22 GHz continuum with 4 arc min resolution is presented. Spectral indices between 5 and 22 GHz were obtained for the whole region, and show the existence of nonthermal sources which do not always coincide in position with the maximum emission. It is shown that the region has many of them with shell like structures, which suggests that they may be supernova remnants.
