The light curves of the semiregular variable R Crt in the optical regions of the spectrum covered by the B, V, and DDO filters, are presented. The DDO magnitudes and colors showed a short-period variation of less than one hour. The magnitudes measured with the wider V and R filters have not showed significant variations, indicating that these are produced by spectral features measured by the DDO filters. A short-period radio variation in the same time scale had also been detected before in the 22-GHz H2O line.
