The forbidden O III, H I, and forbidden N II expansion velocity fields within the planetary nebula NGC 2371-2 obtained from Echelle spectrograms have been used to derive a three dimensional model for the nebula. The data indicate that it consists of a three axes ellipsoid with a bright and dense central ring (or toroid) + two external polar caps showing evidence of deceleration due to interstellar medium.
