High-speed photometry of the recently discovered bright cataclysmic
variable star CPD -48°1577 shows the occasional presence of coherent
periodic oscillations of brightness with periods in the range 24 - 29 s
and amplitudes ≡0.001 mag. The authors discuss the observed phase
and amplitude variations of these oscillations.
