Observations of the NH3 (3, 3) emission line in the '15 km/s' cloud in Sgr A are reported. The observations were carried out with the NRAO VLA telescope at 23.870128 GHz between November and January 1982-1983. The NH3 emission in the VLA maps was located in structures of about 15-40 deg (or 0.7-2.0 pc) in size. Approximately 75 percent of the line emission detected during single antenna observations of the region was missing from the VLA aperture synthesis maps. Longitude velocity plots showed a velocity gradient of about 20 km/s per arcmin (about 8 km/s per pc) which is larger than the gradient observed in single antenna surveys by a factor of four. On the basis of the velocity gradient calculations, a mass of 1.2 x 10 to the 5th solar mass is given for the cloud within a radius of 2 pc. Examples of the VLA maps are provided.
