A set of model atmospheres for the bright component of the system υ Sgr has been computed with 10000° ≤ Te ≤ 14000° and 1.0 ≤ log g ≤ 4.0. The chemical composition for the models was obtained from analysis of spectra. The helium abundance was taken in the ranges 0.70 - 0.95, hydrogen 0.01 - 10-6 and heavy elements 0.05 - 0.30 by number of atoms. The theoretical continuum and the character of the models have been compared with the observed spectrum. The atmosphere of υ Sgr is in agreement with the models: Te = 13500°±200°, log g = 1.5±0.25, and Te = 14000°±200°, log g = 2.0±0.25.
