A sample of asteroids was observed at ESO-La Silla in September 1983 with the GPO (Grand Prisme Objectit, f = 4 m, D = 40 cm) without prism. The results presented here were obtained with the measuring machine OPTRONICS at ESO in Garching (Germany). Four new asteroids were designated by B. G. Marsden (Minor Planet Center) : 1983 RX2, 1983 RY2, 1983 RZ2, 1983 OO (already discovered by E. Bowell on July 17).
