The Magellanic Stream is IGM fuel which originates from the interaction of theMagellanic Clouds with each other and the Galaxy. The Stream trails the Clouds for over 100 degrees and serves as a probe of the mass and baryonic density of the Galactic halo. Beautiful HIPASS maps of the entire HI distribution of the Magellanic Stream are presented, with recent results on the Stream's lower column density extended component and Hα emission considered.
