I describe the sharp new constraints on cosmological models placed jointly by the MAP satellite and the power spectrum P(k) from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS), focusing on the implications for dark energy, dark matter, neutrinos and the Early Universe. I also discuss how these results fit with constraints from lensing, Lyman alpha forest clustering and other cosmological probes, and how they can be used to test rather than assume the underlying physics.
