The present analysis confirms the contention that the majority of
Jupiter's decametric radio emissions occur when Io is above the northern
magnetic hemisphere of Jupiter. However, a substantial portion of the
non-Io-related component of source A was found to occur when Io was
above southern magnetic latitudes of Jupiter.
