The current paper presents results of studies on the light curves of potentially active quasi-stellar objects (QSOs) and related phenomena over short time scales. The salient feature of the observations is the constantcy of the objects. No sudden changes such as dips or bursts in intensity, periodic variations, or large trends were noticed. Thus such objects appear to be truly quiescent in luminosity on second to hour time scales.
