Spinars may be regarded as rapidly rotating magnetic supermassive objects which are evolving towards a black hole-accretion disc configuration. Due to instability of spinars to fragmentation, small clusters of spinars are expected to form. The clusters break up typically by ejecting pairs of spinars symmetrically in two opposite directions. The ejected spinars leave trails in the interstellar and intergalactic media which radiate strongly in radio synchrotron emission. Quantitative comparisons between trails in model elliptical galaxies and double radio lobes in radio galaxies have been made. The distribution of masses of supermassive objects in radio galaxies is derived; the distribution is calibrated through an interpretation of the jet and radio lobes of M87. The origin of hot spots, head-tail structures and jets as well as the alignment of nuclear jets with the double radio lobes are discussed.
