Analytic expressions are constructed for incomplete Fourier transforms underlying Kitamura's method (1965) for the analysis of the light curves of eclipsing binaries. Expansion established for Kitamura's coefficients cn and sn are used as the basis for checking the numerical accuracy of these coefficients tabulated by Kitamura (1967); the result points to the high quality of Kitamura's tables constructed by numerical quadratures.
