(15) Eunomia was observed visually in 1972 and 1981 and visually and photoelectrically in 1985. From these observations the linear portion of the phase curve is described by V(1, a) = (5.496 +/- 0.267) +/- (0.037 +/- 0.011) a for phase angles, a, between 10 and 25 . From photoelectric observations a synodic rotation period of 6.081 (+/- 0.001) h is derived. From the visual observations a mean rotation period of 6.082 (+/- 0.002) h is found. A method of estimating the rotation period by folding visual observations is described.
