The paper presents results of a numerical simulation of the effect of two types of localized disturbances of electron density on the characteristics of the oblique decametric-wave sounding of the three-dimensionally irregular ionosphere. The artifical disturbances considered are an injection disturbance in the E-layer and a heating disturbance in the upper ionosphere. An analysis is made of the attenuation and azimuthal deviations of additional refraction modes of propagation.
