Static, spherically symmetric, conformally flat interior solutions are examined. The Einstein field equations in the case of a static, spherically symmetric energy-momentum tensor and a conformally flat line element are examined, and the remaining freedom in the field equations is used to choose the functional form of the mass distribution. Four physically reasonable models of anisotropic fluids are developed and their properties compared with those of the conformally flat Schwarzschild tensor.
