The current sample of galaxies with an established sense of rotation contains 79 trailing and two leading systems. The two leading spirals, NGC 4490 and 5395, belong to the M51' type. A detailed study of the system NGC 4490/85 is presented, which confirms that the arms in NGC 4490 are leading. A probable percentage Xp and an upper limit Xup of galaxies with leading arms are estimated. Values of Xup = 8.2% and Xp = 3.5% are obtained for the 79 trailing and two leading spirals.
