The 21 cm line observations around the Lupus Loop supernova remnant show the existence of two concentric expanding H I shells. A break in the neutral hydrogen distribution can be seen in both shells in the direction away from the galactic plane. Radii, expansion velocities, masses and ambient densities for the shells are derived from the observations. It is concluded that the outer shell was formed by the action of the stellar wind and that the inner shell is due to the supernova explosion. Suitable models are applied for each case and ages, kinetic energies, wind luminosity and initial energy of the explosion are derived. By superposing H I observations with X-ray observations, the existence of enhanced X-ray emission regions between both H I shells is noted. The fact that the supernova has exploded inside a stellar wind bubble gives an explanation for the low density derived from X-ray observations.
