Scientific paper

The improvement of known asteroids' orbits from Gaia astrometric
observations is discussed. Further we show how the PPN parameter (2 +
2γ - β)/3 and the solar quadrupole can be determined
separately, providing hence a direct and independent determination of
the solar J2 .
