This autumn, the Editorial Office of the Astronomical Journal will begin to move gradually from the University of Washington to the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin. The transition of the Editorial Office to Madison will be complete on 2005 January 1, when John S. Gallagher III will become the Editor. Authors will not see any change in the way that papers are submitted until the end of the transition period, although during this time some papers will be overseen by the Editor-Elect and the Madison office with guidance from the Editor. Any changes in procedures will be announced in advance on the Astronomical Journal's Web pages and as quickly as possible in the printed version of the Journal.
