This program observes a portion of the Hubble Deep Field with all three NICMOS cameras in the F160W and F110W filters to produce infrared images equivalent in depth to the existing WFPC2 HDF images. In addition to the imaging observations we will also take deep grism images of the HDF field in the G096 and G141 grisms. The program is designed to produce data for statistical studies of number, luminosity, morphology, redshift, and color for more accurate determination of cosmological parameters. Equally important and essential for the above is a determination of the evolution of galaxies in the field both statistically and individually. In addition the imaging and grism data will be used to determine the epoch of star formation in galaxies.
