The Clarke Lake TPT radiotelescope was used to map the region of the galactic center at 110.6 MHz and 120.0 MHz. Both maps were superimposed on a 160 MHz radioheliograph map previously obtained at Culgoora. All maps displayed the presence of a low energy jet extending from the center until coincident with the northeastern limb of the nonthermal Sgr-A radio shell. The 110.6 MHz map also revealed similarities between a northern galactic center lobe and the jet. An analysis of the lobe and jet according to standard synchrotron source theory indicates that the lobe and jet arise from similar processes occurring in the galactic nucleus. The features physically resemble those of Seyfert galaxies, particularly when a dog-leg radio lobe collides with an intergalactic cloud.
