Data from the Sakigake and Suisei spacecraft missions to Comet Halley are discussed. The design and experiments of the two spacecraft are described. The radio wave emissions, which are related to the comet, and the interaction between the solar wind and the ion tail of Comet Halley were studied by Sakigake. A breathing phenomena from the comet and time variations in the water production rate are observed from ultraviolet imager data. Plasma flow vectors, energy spectra, and ion densities outside and inside this perturbed region were analyzed by the Suisei spacecraft.
