An effort is made to determine whether the magnetic field configuration
of flare-generated streams is closed. B(YZ) hodographs of randomly
chosen flare-generated streams are examined, and it is shown that the
magnetic field lines of such streams have both a regular (closed)
structure and a more or less pronounced irregular component.
