The problem of the gas-to-dust ratio in M31 was studied using 21 cm radio observations by Unwin (1980) and colours of globular clusters from the photoelectric catalogue compiled by the authors. The dependence of NHI/EB-V on the distance from the center of M31 is found. The maximum value NHI/EB-V = 1022atoms cm-2mag-1 is obtained at the distance of about 10 kpc from the center. The mean value NHI/EB-V = 5×1021atoms cm-2mag-1 may be adopted. M31 is not distinguished by the smallest value of NHI/EB-V among the other Local Group galaxies as it was considered before.
