We consider the relation among collapsars, supernovae, and x-ray flashes
with emphasis on how these events might help to distinguish the
collapsar from other leading models. New two- and three-dimensional
calculations are presented of relativistic jet propagation and break out
in a massive Wolf-Rayet star.
