A possible detection of hard X-ray afterglows of short (<2 s)
gamma-ray bursts has been claimed from an analysis of the BATSE data
(Lazzati et al. 2001). We have performed a similar search in the
BeppoSAX Gamma-Ray Burst Monitor data. Preliminary results are
presented.
