We present the results of spatially resolved ASCA spectral analysis of A496, A2199, A3571 and Perseus. Mild, but significant, central abundance enhancements are found in each. The analysis of an ensemble of individual elemental abundance ratio indicates that gtrsim 50% of the intracluster iron near the centers of these clusters is from Type Ia supernovae. Based on the analysis of abundance ratios in these clusters, we provide constraints on competing SN Ia explosion models. In particular, the observed Ni/Fe ratios are consistent with SN Ia explosion models with fast flame speeds, such as W7, but not consistent with delayed detonation models. We argue that resonant scattering of the FeKalpha line is not required to explain the observed (NiKalpha +FeKbeta )/FeKalpha ratios.
