Ca-Al inclusions with an ophitic texture have been identified in both the Allende and Leoville meteorites. The inclusions are characterized by the presence of pyroxene, ophitic feldspar, and spinel and by unusually sharp contours. In the present paper, a photograph in reflected light of the Allende inclusion IAM2 is discussed, and the features of the inclusion are outlined.
