Recently evidence was presented for enhanced soft X-ray emission associated with a high-velocity-cloud (HVC). We now present additional observational results with indicate that the X-ray emission is indeed produced by the impact of the HVC onto the galactic disk. Moreover, we present first estimations about the energy budget of the interaction area.
